Touch Ranger Help
So I am hoping to get Guild Wars Trilogy and Eye of the North for Christmas, and I was thinking about doing a Touch Ranger Build to Farm and help me finance and supply equipment for other builds/role playing characters. So if you all could give me some advice of my variant of a Touch Ranger it would greatly be appreciated.
So here are the Attributes I was thinking.
Expertise
Blood Magic
Marksmanship
The user bar is much like a Regular Touch Ranger user bars but here is what mine is going to consist of:
Vampiric Bite, Vampiric Touch, Well of Blood, Whirling Defense, Dodge, Volley, Splinter Shot, Resurrect Signet
Well of Blood is easily spammable and can allow you to stay in the thick of the fight longer.
Volley and Splinter Shot for Crowd Control and just fun to spam (Volley).
The rest is common Touch Ranger knowledge...
The reason why I wanted to add Marksmanship is in case I feel like I want to switch to a more of a Disrupter/Damage Support Role. It also allows more damage for bows and allow me to acquire better Bows.
Also Marksmanship have many Mob Control Attack Skills.
Again all criticism/advice is greatly appreciated since I am a newbie.

here's the best advice ever. don't go toucher.
in all honesty you are much more use to the group as a ranger spreading conditions and interrupting like most rangers, or using some barrage ranger build for damage. anything but a toucher please for the sake of all of us rangers.

Yeah, no. If you want to farm with a ranger you have much better options, look them up on pvxwiki.com.
Firstly, touch rangers use a lot of energy and with no energy management you'll be useless on any team, anywhere. That said, Well of Blood costs 10 energy and Expertise doesn't reduce the cost because it is a spell. You will be at 0 energy in no time at all.
Second, I don't know of very many places were a touch ranger is needed in PvE. And in PvP they're a gimmick and extremely easy to shut down.
You want to have [Distracting Shot] or [Savage Shot] in pretty much any ranger build. If you want a block stance, you should only need one. Dodge is good, but it can end prematurely if you aren't careful. Go with [Lightning Reflexes]. For an elite skill, you can use either of these, depending on what is needed most: [Broad Head Arrow][Barrage][Burning Arrow][Incendiary Arrows][Melandru's Shot]
Another tip, always get your weapon attribute as high as you can without destroying your health bar. For a ranger, a minor marksmanship rune on a marksmanship mask (14 Marksmanship) is optimal.
12+1+1 Marksmanship
9+1 Expertise
9+1 Wilderness Survival
3 Protection Prayers
[Elite][Distracting Shot][Savage Shot][Lightning Reflexes][Troll Unguent][Mending Touch][Optional][Resurrection Signet]
Pin Down, Throw Dirt, Sloth Hunter's Shot and Apply Poison are all handy optional skills.

Touch rangers aren't a very viable farming build. i doubt it can do many of the farms that other 600/smite or 55 builds can run.
if you really do want to create a farm build out of this, you might as well go full touch and blocks, without the use of a bow. the crowd control shots you describe are not effective enough to be in the bar.
i suggest investing in another profession and learn the farming builds from there, Rangers are now mostly PvP orientated, spreadign conditions and disrupting in PvP. trappers in PvE and whatever have gone out of fashion as other farming builds go much faster.
... And if you do go toucher in PvP... expect a gank.
but that's off topic
i agree with turbo though, just don't go toucher :P

Just dnt do it man : / Touchers are the sinz
Heres somthing i cooked up for Raptor farms with a pet...
[Skill] Charm Animal [/Skill] [Skill] Call of Protection [/Skill] [Skill] Feral Aggression [/Skill] [Skill] Melandru's Assault [/Skill] [Skill] Otyugh's Cry [/Skill] [Skill] Symbiotic Bond [/Skill]
You could use Enraged lunge or Heal as one if you are taking 2 much dmg
and you could also bring Edge of Extinction / Quick Zen to speed up kills/Melandrus spam. Energy might be a real low here so work out for yourself which works best id say 16 expertise and a decent Asuran rank along with a high energy staff you could keep the chains.
Your gonna need high expertise High Beast mastry and a lvl 20 pet but it does work. Only tried it in NM i never really bother with rap farms.
For another rap farm you might consider using this......
[Skill] Escape [/Skill] [Skill] Lightning Reflexes [/Skill] Optional Optioan Optional Optional Optional [Skill] Sand Shards [/Skill]
Just run around get em all bunched and attack with ur wep sand shards does dmg make sure ur attacking the dude with Crtical Defences on.

Touch Rangers can farm, but you need to drop your idea for Marksmanship, IMO. Either run a Ranger, or turn to the dark side, and leave your bow behind. I would highly recommend that you learn how to play as a Ranger first. This is posted in the wrong forum if you're looking for a farming build.
A few places that a Toucher can farm include: UW chaos plains, Vaettirs, and dozens of bosses. There are a few niche areas where a toucher can still be effective. PvE mobs never learn and never change. Solo quests and missions can be done as a Touch Ranger.
You can do much better in a group, though. Your bar lacks energy management. You have a res sig in a farming build. Well of Blood? Why?
In case you did not know, you can quickly change your skills and build without any negative effect. Guild Wars allows you to quickly save your builds as templates, so you don't have to try mixing roles like this.

What build do you use for Chaos Plains? I use the GC Toucher for Ice Wastes (Smites and the occational Coldfire), but I can't seem to neither get to nor farm the plains with reliability...

The build from the farming sticky. Haven't tried that one, personally. Farming build for FoW on last page. There are also some tips from the author on the last page to deal with the changes from melee to ranged on the mindflays in UW.

Ah yes, Sorry about the rez signet thing, it was early in the morning and I wasn't thinking straight.... This build is mostly meant for Solo Farming and Running... But I also want to have fun with it....
So if this new bar doesn't seem to flow then I will move on to an DB/MS Sin Farmer or something like that.
What do you think of...
Vampiric Bite, Vampiric Touch, Blood is Power, Lightening Reflexes, Whirling Defense, Soul Leech, & Angrodon's Gaze?
Also I will just focus in Expertise and Blood Magic...

Can I ask why do you have [Blood Is Power]? Touch Rangers use [Offering Of Blood], because you can't use BiP on yourself...
